I am a strong-willed child of the 80s.  Love me some swimming, writing, debate, stand-up comedy, stop-motion animation, b/w photography, cats, massages and freedom.  Wife to a non-American and mother to two gorgeous "mixed" kiddos.  Living on the outside of the States "fishbowl" has not only caused me to love and appreciate my roots more but also to be more and more concerned about where everything is headed.  I believe that light always triumphs over darkness so let's shed some light on the shadows.  You can call me Miran of Arch, a reference to Joan of Arch who always followed her gut with nerves of steel.  May I be able to do the same.
